Hey Teacher, Let’s Bring a Citizen Scientist to Our School!
Dear Teacher,
I found a really cool author, inventor, and citizen scientist named Dr. Dirt, and I would love for him to visit our classroom!
He has read his science-inspired books and Dr. Seuss favorites to over 10,000 kids. He brings high-energy programs that make science fun, and he even gives out free custom stickers to every student!
Here are the quick details about his visits:
- Classroom Time: He reads and presents to individual classes for about 30 minutes per class.
- All Ages Welcome: He presents to all grade levels, and has even done high schools, staff meetings, and PTA events.
- Smart Farming & Games: He teaches us about smart farming, gardening, and has an educational video game we can play to learn science.
- The Cost: His booking fee is $0! If he is already traveling through our town, the visit is 100% free. If he has to travel from far away, our school or parent group would just cover his basic travel expenses.
